State Sovereignty is core to my belief in the Constitution and the governance of our country. I am proud to demonstrate these core beliefs by my placing my signature on the below pledge to Uphold the 10th Amendment.

Since I agree with the overall message of Glenn Beck’s five pledges for Congress, I have signed it.  Click on the image below to see the full-sized version.

My only issue with the Taxpayer Protection Pledge is that I do not believe it goes far enough.  It’s not enough to pledge that I won’t raise taxes – I am to lower them.  Even so, I signed the pledge and encourage the voters in Nevada to require the rest of their Federal representatives to do the same.

Unlike many aspiring politicians out there, I’m willing to put my principles in writing.  To that end, I have signed the Oath of Office that all Senators take, so that all of you will know that I’m willing to abide by the principles contained in that oath before voting for me.
